The Heart Behind the Lens

Hi, I’m Alyssa, a nurse and a photographer by heart. For over a decade, I’ve been a passionate photo-taker, long before I ever owned a professional camera. I didn’t start with fancy equipment or big plans; I simply loved capturing moments and telling stories through images. What began as a deep love for preserving memories has recently grown into professionally serving families and couples in a more intentional way.

I’ve always wished we could freeze time,  the way your toddler reaches for your hand, the laughter that fills your home, the quiet, candid glances that speak louder than posed smiles. Those unplanned, in-between moments are the ones that tell the truest story.

My faith shapes the way I see people and the way I photograph them. I believe every season of life is a gift from God, even the ordinary days. As a nurse, I’m constantly reminded how quickly life changes and how precious each moment truly is. That perspective fuels my heart behind the camera. My goal isn’t perfection, it’s presence. I want to preserve the joy, connection, and God-given beauty woven into your story so you can hold onto it for years to come.
